Can Glass Reactor be heat up 300C ? If you ask me , Can glass reactor can reach 300C ? My answer will be Yes. Lab glass reactor ( No matter single layer glass reactor or jacketed glass reactor or Triple layer glass reactor ) is made of High Borosilicate GG3.3 . If just glass reaction tank or all glass parts, it is no problem to suffer 300c at all but even more high temperature . We also have high temperature circulator or Lab Thermostatic oil bath can heat up 300C But We must consider a important elements : Seal system and Life -span use Now the best seal material is PTFE with high thermal stability and chemical resistance , as well as a high melting point -200C to +260C and also can up to 300C for short periods . If you just long timme for 300C, the seal gasket will be worn out and shrinkage and bring leakage .
